In the end of January I went to Barcelona for a month again. Yearly winter escape because
of the shitty weather all the time in Hollandia. This time a lot of different squads from different countries pulled up in the same period. At the time parallel was packed with over 50 riders in the night. Only a few were riding. And it was not a jam.For FVR I bought myself a kodak throwaway cam out
We had a couple Barcelona first timers in the squad. Julian Arteaga, Jared Duncan, David Pendleton and some homies from Murrieta. You know you have to pull up to Forum (Luh4ren from Black Kray starts playing). Found that smiley on the white curbs.
On the right we have LA based photographer Chris Eiland being proud on his inside out spliff (learned from the dutch) next to his signature FVR tee shirt.

Me, Sauce and Trevor were last man standing again after a night at the well-known Nevermind bar. We decided to go on an adventure in the street. After getting a ticket for drinking behind Macba we went to another spot. Ended up at Universität plaza and we met a guy with this ducktaped Les Paul guitar. As a musician we had the best jams at 4 in the night. Me and Trev did moshpits and stagedives off the curb on the plaza. While sauce and Brussels Stijn Hens were talking about American food.

Today we Ride BMX Bikes at the UK's Newest Action sports facilty! Some bmx tips on Barspins on the new Bmx / Mtb / scooter / skate resi! Thanks Graystone for letting me film the video!
It started with a chance encounter, stumbling across some second-hand BMX bikes from the United States in a Nigeria shop. And following a trawl of some internet videos, it has spawned into a burgeoning BMX scene in the city’s capital, Lagos, transcending socio-economic backgrounds. Here is all you need to know:
- The BMX scene only really started six years ago as rider Star Boy, aka Matthew Temitope, a mechanic in Lagos, was among those to stumble across some vintage 1980s freestyle BMXs. After watching videos with friends on his phone and in internet cafes, they began to try out their own style of tricks.
We're given the keys to a brand new skatepark ( Graystone) and Oli and Charlotte basically fall in Love lol.
We took a drive up to Canada and checked out Air Rec... the most amazing indoor bmx park EVER! Huge dirt jumps, air bag, resi and a really cool park section!
Since he was a kid, Ooti Billeaud had wanted a backyard BMX ramp, but neither his parents nor future landlords were interested, so when he finally purchased land in New Orleans his first plan was to build a ramp. Unfortunately, the city told him if he built a ramp before building a house they would confiscate his land so he built a small house and a very big ramp.
Having a large backyard has always been a dream of me. Not for the space, just to be able to build your own dirt spot, they way you want it. On 20 square meters you can't build much but luckily we've got some dirt spots close by which works. The Bensink family over in Voorst do have a dirt jump park built in their backyard and Philip and I paid a visit last Saturday. Unfortunately Niels wasn't present himself as he was racing in China so the big jumps did not see any riding but still the pump track section of the spot was good fun. Building and maintaining a dirt spot is hard work. You've got to love it otherwise it doesn't make sense having your own spot. More time is spent with the shovel in hand than the grips of your handlebars riding it. But then again, you are in control of what you're
From waste land to a world class pump track facility...This is the story of the Wishaw community project in Glasgow and how riding bikes is helping to change lives.
